Binay distributes food packs in Pangi

VICE President Jejomar Binay vowed to support the affected families with anything the National Government is capable of providing.
Binay, in Friday’s visit to families affected by the recent flash floods in Barangay Matina Pangi, said the residents should not lose hope amid the disaster that hit the city.
“Tutulong po kami sa lahat ng paraan at hindi po kayo pababayaanan ng pamahalaan (the government will help you),” Binay said.
The Vice President led the distribution of relief goods to hundreds of distressed families in the same barangay.
In a ceremonial turnover, Binay personally handed-out eight food packs to affected residents.
Each bag contains three canned goods, four noodles, and one pack of biscuit.
Binay, who previously came from a speaking engagement in Davao del Sur, arrived at the Pangi barangay hall around noon.
