MACCII inducts new officers, biz members for 2012
THE Metro Angeles Chamber of Commerce & Industry Inc. (MACCII) held the induction of its officers and directors for the year 2012 to 2013 at the Oasis Hotel over the weekend, in bid to strengthen local representation for businesses here.
Atty. Miguel B. Varela, president of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), was the inducting officer and keynote speaker for the said event.
Leading the roster of this year’s officers are chairman Mario Lazatin, president Francisco Villanueva Jr., executive vice president Arsenio Valdes, vice president for economic affairs Violeta Gonzales, vice president for internal affairs Anthony Ayson, vice president for external affairs Atty. Alejandro Buan, corporate secretary Atty. Elfren Hipolito Jr., and treasurer Pablito Flores.
The directors for this year include Jeffery Cruz, Cynthia Gueco, Mitchi Kaye Otsuru, Roland Pena, Jeff Pradhan, Myra Rivera and Elizabeth Timbol.
“With the start of the year, we hope to become a stronger voice for the business sector here both in the local and national scene,” Villanueva told Sun.Star Pampanga.
He said their group will continue to foster cooperation among business movers here and lead in major development initiatives in cooperation with their sector and the local government units.
New members of MACCII were also inducted during the event. The new members are Connect Plus represented by Minerva Arceo, Marson Hog Farms by Johnson Dycaico, Tox Hardware by Jon Maniti, Blue Gems Pawnshop by Atty. Catherine Reyes. MGM Enterprises Inc./Manpower by Atty Mycel Maniquis, JTEC Distribution Inc by Jeff Patawaran, and Malayan Bank by Ruby Santiago.
Also, joining MACCII’s event were PCCI area vice president for North Luzon Vicky Gaetos and PCCI-Central Luzon governor Marc Nepomuceno and Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Kabigting.
