Pampanga police office holds narcotics investigation seminar

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Pampanga Police Office (PPO) on Monday held a narcotics investigation seminar at the Bale Katimawan (Freedom Hall) here in a bid to enhance the capabilities of the personnel of the provincial police force.
The PPO, in a statement, said the Philippine National Police recognizes that illegal drug and drug-related violence are a major problem in the country, which requires a very comprehensive solution.
he 10-day narcotics investigation seminar will last until June 24. The said activity included 25 participants from the PPO’s non-commissioned officers and different municipal police stations within the province.
Guest of honor and speaker during the opening of the event was 3rd District Board Member Raul M. Macalino.
Topics on Drug Law Enforcement like Indicators of Pusher/User and Clandestine Laboratory, RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act) Section 21 and Prosecution, Drug Terminologies and Medium and other related topics will be tackled during this 10-day seminar.
Other invited lecturers include Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Otto B. Macabulos, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration Police Supt. Elbert F. Pagente and resource speakers from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
