Police turn over 18 new vehicles to provincial offices

CAMP OLIVAS — The Philippine National Police (PNP) in Central Luzon has turned over at least 18 newly acquired police vehicles to the six provincial offices in the region.
The vehicles were turned over by Deputy Director for Administration Valiant De Guzman to representatives of provincial police offices (PPO) on Wednesday.
Recipients of the vehicles were Bataan PPO- Limay police station (PS), Mariveles PS, Morong PS and Orani PS; Bulacan PPO-Angat PS, Balagtas PS, Malolos PS, Obando PS, Paombong PS and San Rafael PS; Nueva Ecija PPO-Carranglan PS and Talugtog PS; Pampanga PPO-Apalit PS and Macabebe PS; Tarlac PPO-Moncada PS and Paniqui PS and Zambales PPO-Cabangan PS and San Narciso PS.
The distribution of the new patrol cars is part of the continued effort of the PNP to upgrade the facilities and equipments of the local police force in order to support police field operations under the PNP Integrated Transformation Program.
In his message, Police Chief Superintendent De Guzman said that new patrol cars, which the recipients should make good use at all times, will enable them to serve the community better.
He encouraged them to bring about all the necessary efforts in carrying out the PNP’s mandated tasks in keeping the crime situation under control, to continue serving the community by giving them a feeling of safety and comfort and to parlay that work in finding a way to make it beneficial to the greater public.
A lecture on the proper care and maintenance of vehicles immediately followed after the turn-over ceremony at the police camp’s parade grounds.
