CITY OF SAN FERNANDO– An executive of a financing firm who was shot in front of his house by still unidentified assailants is now in critical condition.
Initial reports provided by police identified the victim as one Edgar Mallari of San Fernando Subdivision in Barangay Sto. Niño.

Investigators said around 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Mallari was backing up his car from his garage when unidentified men wearing bonnets shot the victim thrice, one hitting him in the head.
Mallari was rushed to the Makabali Medical Center in this city where he is currently at the intensive care unit.
Operatives and investigators are still conducting follow-up operations and are looking at two angles.
“One may be related to his work and the other is regarding an alleged controversial land dispute in the barangay,” investigators said.
