Mabalacat Peso holds job fair

MABALACAT — The local government, through its Public Employment Services Office (Peso), has sponsored a three-day job fair in front of the old municipal hall in Barangay Poblacion here.
Mabalacat Peso Manager Benjie Pangan said they have invited several firms for local and overseas employment, including the Y&L Global Manpower, Cyber City Teleservices and others.
The Y&L Global Manpower, a firm accredited by the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), has tied up with Al Ehssan Services for recruitment in Qatar.
The firm is currently in need of 50 domestic helpers, nurses, babysitters, and gypsum board installers.
Cyber City Teleservices, on the other hand, is in need of 2,000 call center agents.
Pangan said the Peso has invited several companies to help Mabalaqueños who are seeking local or overseas employment.
