New blog to bring mall ‘closer’ to people

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The SM City Pampanga mall recently launched its new website that is expected to bring its mall services and community programs closer to the people.
SM City Pampanga Public Relations Officer Rain Cervantes announced this, saying www.smcitypampanga.wordpress.com is now up and running and will initially contain SM Pampanga’s mall events, press releases, and cinema schedules.
“The blogsite is part of SM’s commitment to bring our services closer to the people,” Cervantes said, adding that mallgoers can now have easy access to information about mall events by just surfing the Internet.
The blogsite also features many of the highlights of SM City Pampanga’s 10th anniversary. Most of the program highlights, past events and information about SM City Pampanga are also posted on the interactive web blog.
Cervantes said job seekers may also visit the site to get the latest updates on job postings and careers offered by SM City Pampanga tenants.
She said schedules of job fairs would also be posted regularly on the site.
“We also want more people to read about our advocacies and corporate social responsibility programs. People who visit our blog site can have more information about them and get a chance to become part of these ongoing programs,” Cervantes said.
People who visit the site may also leave messages and comments on the interactive page on rave feedback on recent events and how to improve mall services. (Ian Ocampo Flora)
