Romero to continue biz sector service

CLARK FREEPORT — Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PamCham) former president Renato Romero will continue his service to the business sector here as he assumes post as vice chairman of the chamber’s board of directors effective this month.
Romero said that unlike his former post, he would be taking a more laid back but significantly important duty as one of the core officers of the group.
He said he will now be assisting PamCham chairman Liberato Laus in keeping the group’s officers on the right track toward better business representation in government and the Pampanga community.

“I am expressing my trust on the administration of president Jim Jimenez who will be leading PamCham in the coming months. He has been well-prepared by the organization and we hope to see more innovations and developments under his leadership,” Romero said.
He said he will now be able to look into the advocacies of Advocacy for the Development of Central Luzon (ADCL) of which he is chairman of the board of directors.
He said a more active ADCL will be seen in the coming months and it would be partnering with PamCham in many parallel socio-civic and environmental advocacies.
Romero also thanked the officers and members of PamCham for trusting him in his long years of leading the organization.
He said his passion for PamCham advocacies will not be diminished by his new role in the organization.
Meanwhile, PamCham chairman Levy Laus hailed Romero’s term as one of the most productive in the history of the organization. He said Romero remains as one of the most respected leaders in the business industry here. (IOF)
